As a reminder the new JOAD sessions are nearly upon us, set to begin on 5/14 and 5/19 which is next Tuesday and Saturday!! We are still actively taking registrations for these upcoming classes – though time is running out. So please be sure to contact us if you are interested in participating.

• We will have regular classes on Tuesday nights from 6:00 to 7:00 PM and Saturday mornings from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.
• We will have advanced classes on Tuesday nights from 7:15 to 8:15 PM and Saturday mornings from 10:45 to 11:45.
• All kids between the ages of 6 to 20 are invited to come in and LEARN HOW TO SHOOT ARCHERY!!

Check out one of the latest bows we got in, which also happens to be extremely limited. I’m wondering who will be the lucky one to purchase as it is sure to not be on the wall long!

It’s a Mathews bow so you know you are getting top quality, however, with this bow you’re getting something even more. They perhaps made one of the nicest looking camo bows I’ve seen, down to every detail, such as ensuring the roller guard, cams and idler are as equally as camo as the riser itself. Definitely a great bow to own. Stop by and check it out!

We wanted to post a quick update to let you know that a newsletter is in the process of being finished and should be sent tomorrow morning. So if you are not already on our mailing list, be sure to sign-up as it only takes a few seconds and can be done to the right of the page. We only typically send 1-2 newsletters per months as to respect everyone’s time, thus we attempt to put as much as we can in to each one regarding any upcoming events, shoots, reminders and general news.

Aside from that we were also excited that Lehigh Valley Magazine, for their May-June issue chose to cover and do a write-up on Archery Addictions – so you should check it out! We have scans of the article as well for anyone unable to get a copy an is interested in checking it out. Subscribing to their magazine is only a few dollars if you are interested. Leaving off we want to take the time to sincerely appreciate everyone who helps support Archery Addictions. It’s never easy being a new business, so everyone’s support, positive feedback and contributions to the incredible atmosphere found within the walls of Archery Addictions (and outside, now that the weather is nice!) is appreciated beyond what any words could adequately convey. Oh No! Where did my Facebook go?

Oh No! Facebook is Missing…

Thanks to everyone who has notified us regarding our Facebook page no longer being present. We have taken steps to find out exactly what has occurred and will hopefully have it back up soon and apologize for the confusion around this. It was a surprise to us as well when we found this out as there was no changes or updates being made and no violations of any Facebook rules. So it’s Wednesday. You know what that means!! It means we are 1/2 way through our week, and almost to the weekend – And what a weekend it’s going to be!! We have two big events scheduled. First we have our FITA indoor shoot which with the large number of registered participants is sure to be a lot of fun while being the first FITA shoot held at Archery Addictions!!! Thanks to everyone participating, we look forward to seeing you.

Note: For all shooters you should have by now received an e-mail confirming registration and providing your shooting times. Please remember to take in to account the dress code which includes no jeans, t-shirts or camouflage.

Specifically this is the Fox Harbor FITA Shoot that was sponsored and to be shot at Lancaster Archery – Not the Cystic Fibrosis and Breast Cancer benefit shoot that is still being held at Archery Addictions.

This is a great shoot and an awesome way to have fun while truly contributing to helping find a cure for these problems – a cure long overdue! As such there is a lot of ways you can help. I’ve laid out the information below in the most efficient manner I could find possible.

It outlines the general details of the shoot, shoot details, information on additional donations and how this isbeing handled, business/personal sponsors for lanes and 3D course animals ($25/$50 respectively), as well as other needs listed last.

Two great shoots for Two great causes, both Cystic Fibrosis and Breast Cancer.

All proceeds will go to benefit the PA Breast Cancer Coalition and Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

This awesome shoot will take place on Saturday March 16, 2013. It involves both a 20 Target 3D shoot as we

ll as a 450 Spot/Target Shoot – you can choose which you would like to participate in.

It includes Trophy Prizes as well as 50/50 drawings, while the first 25 shooters to register get a free gift!! People have began registering and we are all setup to do so now, so make sure you get in early on this one.

20 Target 3D Challenge: Doors open at 10AM, No Line Times
450 Spot Shoot: Line Times are 10AM, 1PM and 4PM. The most we can currently accommodate for each time slot is 28 shooters (2 shooters per lane with 14 lanes right now).
The entrance fee is $25 – and it’s going to be going to a good cause.

If you would like to make an additional donation in excess of the $25 entrance fee we would love to accept this and help get it to the respective organization for which you choose to donate to. We will personally take care of ensuring all donations made make their way to the respective organization of which you choose. These donations can be dropped off at Archery Addictions (located in Walnutport, PA). If unable to do so and would still like to donate, please contact me.

If you own a business (or even if you don’t) and want to sponsor one of the 14 lanes or an animal within the 3D course you can do so. The fee to sponsor a lane is just $25, and a critter in the 3D course is $50. To do so you can contact Mike Barna (Organizer of the event) at 484-239-8339, Archery Addictions at 484-623-4900 or conveniently through Facebook and we’ll get everything taken care of. I will get a list of the animals that will be available. All lanes/animals sponsored if there is a preference for lane or animal is handled on a first come first serve basis. Really good (and inexpensive!) way to get your business (or self..) exposure.

We will be offering food and beverages and have this setup for those participating. We are looking for donations in the form of anything that will help with this portion of the event. Come support the Lehigh Township Volunteer Fire Company! Have some fun and shoot 25 targets!

On March 29th, Archery Addictions will be holding a benefit shoot from 4PM to 9PM for the Lehigh Township Volunteer Fire Company (No. 1). The shoot will consist of 25 targets in our 3D course for just $12. So come out, have fun and support our local Volunteer Fire Fighters!

FITA SHOOT REGISTRATIONS DUE NEXT FRIDAY 2/15:

Make sure you have your FITA Shoot Registrations sent in and postmarked by February 15th. This deadline is for the shoot being held at Archery Addictions on 3/2 and 3/3. Be sure not to miss the deadline as their are no walk-ons permitted. To get additional details including the form please go to:
